Another exciting week for us. For a start, today we are able to announce that Linn Olofsdotter is busy creating an image for Memories. In fact, she’s well on her way to completing it already and what you can see above is a work in progress. Linn’s image is a response to the story The Meteor, the very touching piece about how a young German girl lost her struggle with cancer.

Linn is a fantastic illustrator and I’ve always loved the texture and atmosphere she manages to get into her images. Back when I was on Computer Arts I really enjoyed briefing her for one of the magazine’s Inspiration Workshop articles and gave here the difficult job of creating an image all about the petroleum crisis. I guess there must have been a petroleum crisis going on at the time. Check out more of here work here. Isn’t it amazing?
