There’s an undeniable charm about Hennie Haworth‘s colourful and somewhat naive illustration style. So we’re really pleased today to announce that she has committed to creating a piece of artwork for our book, Memories. Hennie’s done commercial work for everyone from travel companies to the Telegraph, and has even had some of her hand-drawn pattern work on homeware products in Habitat, and in Japanese fashion boutiques. I’ve always liked her studies of everyday objects like the pens and perfume bottles she did a few years ago. Watch for her book covers too – varied and original. I’m pretty sure she’s going to do a fantastic job when she draws an image for my own story in the book, White Light, which is about my father who passed away in November 2008 from a brain tumour.
