I got out and about last night, handing out a few Memories flyers at a networking event down here called Creative Bath. The concept of the book got a great reception from everyone I spoke to about it. It was just a shame I could only spend about an hour at the event.
Today, I’d like to tell you about Steve Price, AKA Plan-B Studio. Steve has contributed to a number of altruistic design projects in the past including the book Art for Autism (you can see his image for that book above). When we heard about his 10.10.10 project we decided to get in touch. What he’s doing is devoting 10 days from 10 of the calendar months in 2010 to pro bono work. We let him know about Memories, and one of the ten slots that he’s giving over to charitable projects is going to be devoted to creating an image for our book. You can find out more about 10.10.10 by clicking here.
Steve does some great work, and I was interested to find out that he spends half his time in England and half his time in Norway. We think his charitable work through the 10.10.10 projects is a great idea and we’re really pleased that Memories is one of them. Can’t wait to see what he comes up with.
