Erica Burns, welcome to Memories

CloudyEye

Strong line work and whimsical subjectmatter are trademarks of the illustration work of Erica Burns. And we’re really pleased to announce that her powerful and colourful style will be appearing in Memories. Erica has done some great work in the past – you may have seen her murals for Virgin Travel in railway stations. She’s also been getting into pattern work and was recently exhibited at Shunt, in London.

In the course of my work I’ve interrogated Erica on her style and her creative decision-making for Computer Arts magazine and she’s a really friendly and amusing person. I also know that her Dad had a minor stroke recently which was a bit of a shock and all of us here at Memories hope he’s recovering well. We thank Erica for joining our project, and we also think you should go check out her work here. The piece above is Cloudy Eye, one of the images that went up on the wall at Shunt.
